Exciting New Project for Ayushmann Khurrana
In Mumbai, it has been announced that Ayushmann Khurrana will star alongside Sharvari in a new film that is scheduled to begin production on November 1, 2025. This untitled project is designed to appeal to family audiences and will carry the signature style of director Sooraj Barjatya.
A source close to the production revealed, "The film is set to start shooting on November 1. It promises to be a romantic family entertainer, featuring the hallmark of Sooraj Barjatya. Alongside Ayushmann, Sharvari will also play a significant role."
The source added, "Following the success of Uunchai, Rajshri Productions is excited to collaborate once more with Mahaveer Jain Films. The previous partnership was fruitful, leading to this new venture together."
Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana made an appearance at the silver jubilee edition of FICCI Frames 2025, where he confirmed his involvement in Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming film for the first time.
He mentioned, "My upcoming projects include Thamma, which is my major Diwali release, followed by a film with Sooraj Barjatya aimed at a broader audience. Additionally, I'm also working on a project with Dharma Productions that targets a wider demographic."
In the festive season, audiences can look forward to seeing him in Thamma, where he stars alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Sharvari is also preparing for the release of YRF Spy Universe's first female-led film, Alpha, where she shares the screen with Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol, set to hit theaters this Christmas.
This family-oriented film is being produced by Rajshri Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani.
This project marks Mahaveer Jain's next significant film following Naagzilla, which features Kartik Aaryan and is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, in partnership with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
